4. It is very important to disclose to your Realtor any problems with your property. It is common for health, safety, and environmental related inspections to be part of sales contracts. Your Realtor needs this information upfront to ensure that the selling process goes smoothly.
   
   
5. Allow your Realtor to do their job without you being there. Having the owner present while meeting with a real estate professional can make many prospective buyers feel uncomfortable. Your Realtor will be prepared to answer all of the necessary questions.
